Pumpkin Season at CASO: 3 Easy Pumpkin Recipes & an Insider Tip

When fall arrives, it’s peak pumpkin season
Hardly any other vegetable symbolizes fall quite like the pumpkin. Whether savory, sweet, or served as a creamy side dish, with its mild, nutty flavor, it’s a true all-rounder in the kitchen and can be prepared in a wide variety of ways.
Modern kitchen appliances make preparing pumpkin especially convenient. In the AirFryer, for example, pumpkin cooks particularly quickly and easily, while this fall classic can also be transformed into sophisticated dishes for guests or cozy family evenings.
In this post, we’ll show you three of our favorite pumpkin recipes for the fall season. Look forward to a hearty pumpkin-and-fig pinsa, a delicious pumpkin dessert, and a creamy pumpkin purée. We’ll also share a simple AirFryer hack that makes preparing pumpkin dishes even easier.
Why Pumpkin Is a Perfect Fit for Fall Cooking
Pumpkin is a favorite not only because of its versatility but also because of the wide variety of different types available. Hokkaido and butternut squash are particularly popular, as they work well in both savory and sweet dishes.
Whether as a main course, side dish, dessert, or snack, pumpkin adds color to your plate and brings a true fall vibe to the kitchen.

AirFryer Hack: Cutting Pumpkin More Easily
Cutting raw pumpkin is often a hassle. Simply place the washed pumpkin in the AirFryer for 10 to 12 minutes at 180 °C. This will soften the skin slightly, making it much easier to cut the pumpkin in half, remove the seeds, and prepare it further. A simple trick that saves time and makes preparation safer.
