Hot water dispenser from CASO Design
This is what winners look like: HW 1660 and HW 770 Advanced
The test magazine Haus & Garten Test tested hot water dispensers in the current issue 02/2025. Two appliances from CASO Design were rated ‘very good’ and impressed across the board: the HW 1660 was named the test winner and the HW 770 Advanced the price-performance winner.
With the turbo hot water dispensers, only as much water is heated as is actually needed - in a matter of seconds and at the desired temperature. This saves up to 50 % energy, water and time compared to a conventional kettle. Both hot water dispensers feature an integrated water filter. ‘For consumers, this means that undesirable substances are removed from the water in advance, ensuring that the water has a neutral flavour and the taste of the tea is not adulterated.’ At the same time, it promotes the longevity of the appliances.
The testers particularly liked this:
Test winner: HW 1660
- ‘has a water tank with a capacity of around 4 litres’
- Dispenses ‘water in 10-degree increments between 40 and 100 degrees Celsius’
- ‘Flow function to prepare a whole pot of tea, for example’
- ‘Particularly suitable for families and shared offices’
- ‘The HW 1660 impresses with its large tank volume and integrated water filter. Thanks to a button for dispensing water for heating baby food, the appliance is ideal for parents and can replace baby food warmers.
