Recipe idea: Burgers with the meat grinder from CASO Design
Ingredients:
- 1.2 kg beef for mincing
- 6 slices of cheese
- lettuce
- Pickled cucumber
- 2x tomato
- 2x onion
- 100 ml BBQ sauce
- 100 ml mayonnaise
- Burger bun
- 1 tbsp olive oil for frying
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Preparation:
- Cut the beef into large cubes and mince cold in a mincer. Place the minced meat in a stainless steel bowl.
- Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and shape into burger patties (approx. 160 g each). Press the patties together well and chill in the fridge.
- Cut the onions into rings, slice the tomatoes and wash the lettuce.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion rings with the sugar until they are translucent and lightly browned. Set aside.
- Cut the burger buns in half and toast briefly in the pan to loosen them up. Remove the burger patties from the fridge and fry on both sides in a hot pan. Then place the onions on the patties and top with cheese. If necessary, place the pan in the oven at 180 degrees for about 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Spread BBQ sauce on the bottom half of the burger buns and top with lettuce, tomato slices and pickled gherkins. Place the patties on top and spread the top half of the buns with mayonnaise. Place on top of the patties.
- Serve the burgers and enjoy! Enjoy your meal!
