Recipe Idea: Spicy Porterhouse Steak from the Airfryer AF 200
Ingredients:
- 1 Porterhouse steak
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 1 garlic clove
- Rosemary
- Oil for brushing
Preparation:
Seasoning
Allow the meat to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic and rosemary, mix with pepper and salt. Rub the meat on all sides with the seasonings – the longer you massage the spice mix, the better it adheres to the meat. Finally, brush the steak with oil.
Air Frying
Preheat the Airfryer to 200 °C for 3 minutes. Place the steak inside and cook for 8–10 minutes for medium rare. Let the finished steak rest in the open Airfryer for an additional 8 minutes. Slice and serve immediately.
Tip: Depending on the thickness and size of the steak, the cooking time may vary, so we recommend measuring the core temperature:
Rare: 49°
Medium rare: 55°
Medium: 59°
Medium well: 66°
Well done: 71°
