Recipe idea: Strawberry waffle cake 🍓

Ingredients for the waffles:

  • 375 ml milk
  • 375 g flour
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • 2 sachets vanilla sugar
  • 180 g melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 180 g sugar

Ingredients for the filling + decoration

  • 500 g whipped cream
  • 2 sachets vanilla sugar
  • 2 sachets of cream stiffener
  • 400 g strawberries

Preparation of the waffles:

  1. Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  2. Add the flour, butter, milk and baking powder and mix into a smooth batter.
  3. Bake 3-4 Belgian waffles from the batter using the WaffleUp waffle iron.
  4. Leave the waffles to cool.

Preparation of the filling:

  1. Halve 5 strawberries and set aside for the decoration.
  2. Cut the remaining strawberries into small cubes.
  3. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar and cream stiffener until stiff.
  4. Pour 5 tbsp of cream into a piping bag and chill.
  5. 
Fold the strawberries into the rest of the cream.
  6. Now spread the waffles alternately with the cream and stack them.
  7. 
Use the piping bag to pipe small tuffs onto the cake as decoration and decorate with half the strawberries.
 

Recipe idea: Cheese and herb waffles 🌿

Ingredients for the waffles:

  • 200 g flour
  • 140 g soft butter
  • 100 g grated cheese e.g. Gouda
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tbsp chives
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 tsp salt
  • pepper

Topping ingredients:

  • 150 g smoked salmon
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 tbsp chives

Preparation: 

  1. Cut the chives into rolls.
  2. Beat the soft butter until fluffy.
  3. Then stir in the eggs one at a time.
  4. Now stir in the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and milk.
  5. Finally, add the grated cheese and chives to the batter and mix well.
  6. Bake the batter in the waffle iron one after the other.
  7. Finely dice the onion.
  8. Mix the cream cheese with the milk until smooth and top the waffles with it.
  9. Finally, add the salmon, diced onion and chives to the waffles and serve.
 

Recipe idea: Lemon waffles 🍋

Ingredients for the waffles:

  • 500 g flour
  • 500 ml milk
  • 250 g melted butter
  • 2 sachets vanilla sugar
  • 230 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest

Ingredients for the topping

  • 250g quark 20%
  • 250g whipped cream
  • 120g icing sugar
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 150 g lemon curd

Preparation:

  1. Beat the sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs for 2 minutes with a mixer (e.g. Click & Mix) until creamy.
  2. Then add the flour, baking powder, salt, butter and milk and mix into a smooth batter.
  3. Place the batter in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  4. Bake the waffles one by one in a waffle iron until light brown.
  5. Dust the finished waffles with icing sugar.
  6. Whip the cream with the icing sugar until stiff.
  7. Fold in the quark and a little lemon zest.
  8. Spread the cream and a little lemon curd on the waffle.
  9. Then mix a little and top with a little lemon zest.
 

Recipe idea: Rhubarb waffles 🥞

Ingredients for the waffles:

  • 250g flour
  • 120g butter
  • 120g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 220ml milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 red rhubarb stalks

Ingredients for the crumble topping

  • 125 g soft butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar

Preparation:

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the batter except for the rhubarb with plenty of love.
  2. Chop the rhubarb with the Chop&Go and fold into the batter.
  3. Bake the waffles and serve as desired.
 

Recipe idea: Carrot waffles 🥕

Ingredients for 4 waffles:

  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 120 g sugar
  • 130 g ground hazelnut kernels
  • 250 g finely grated carrots
  • 250 g Greek yoghurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 120 g butter (melted)
  • 260 ml milk

Ingredients for the cream cheese frosting:

  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp icing sugar

Preparation:

  1. Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy. Add the butter, yoghurt and milk and continue to beat.
  2. Fold in the carrots and hazelnuts. 
  3. Finally, stir in the flour and baking powder. 
  4. Bake in the waffle iron on level 3. 
  5. For the cream cheese frosting, briefly mix the cream cheese with the icing sugar using the emulsifying disc of the Chop & Go and serve with the waffles.
