Recipe Idea: Pumpkin Panini with Goat Cheese & Honey
Preparation Time:
- approx. 15–20 minutes
Ingredients (for 2 servings):
- 4 slices rustic bread (e.g., ciabatta or sourdough)
- 200 g Hokkaido pumpkin (thinly sliced)
- 100 g soft goat cheese log
- 1 handful arugula or baby spinach
- 1 tbsp liquid honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary (or thyme)
- Salt & pepper
- Optional: chopped walnuts or pumpkin seeds for extra crunch
Preparation:
- Prepare the pumpkin:
Toss the pumpkin slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary → grill on the contact grill for approx. 5–7 minutes until soft and lightly browned. - Assemble the panini:
Spread goat cheese onto one slice of bread, layer the grilled pumpkin on top, drizzle with honey, add arugula & walnuts → place the second slice of bread on top. - Grill:
Place the panini in the contact grill, press down gently → grill for approx. 3–4 minutes until the bread is golden and the cheese melted. - Serve:
Slice in half, drizzle with a bit of honey and garnish with rosemary sprigs or pumpkin seeds.
Recipe Idea: Juicy Roast Beef with Autumn Grilled Vegetables

Ingredients:
For the steak:
- 2 beef steaks (approx. 180–200 g each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp coarse pepper
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 2 sprigs of rosemary
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
For the grilled vegetables:
- ½ zucchini (sliced)
- ½ red bell pepper (sliced)
- ½ red onion (cut into rings)
- A small handful of cherry tomatoes
- ½ Hokkaido pumpkin (thinly sliced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, pepper, a little thyme
For the herb butter:
- 50 g soft butter
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped herbs (parsley, chives, thyme)
- Salt & pepper
Preparation:
- Marinate the steak:
Rub the steaks with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and rosemary. Let them rest at room temperature for 10–15 minutes. - Prepare the vegetables:
Mix the vegetables with olive oil, salt, pepper, and thyme. Preheat the contact grill to approx. 220–240 °C. - Grill the steak:
Grill the steaks for approx. 4 minutes (medium, depending on thickness), then let them rest for another 5 minutes. - Grill the vegetables:
Grill the vegetables for 5–7 minutes until golden and tender but still slightly firm. - Herb butter:
Mix the butter with herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add a small scoop to the warm steak. - Serve:
Slice the steak, arrange it on the grilled vegetables, and top with herb butter. Optional: coarse pepper, fresh herbs, pumpkin seeds, or Parmesan.
