SIMPLE (AND) DELICIOUS: RECIPES FOR YOUR EASTER BRUNCH
The Easter Bunny is already in the starting blocks - time to make some thoughts about the Easter brunch. Today we present seven great recipes that will not only score in taste and appearance, but also can be perfectly prepared in advance. This way the celebration with family and friends can be stress-free.
Springtime delicacy: sweet carrot waffles
These waffles are not only easy to prepare, but also packed with flavor and nutrients.
Ingredients (For 4 waffles):
- 250 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 120 g sugar
- 130 g ground hazelnuts
- 250 g finely grated carrots
- 250 g Greek yogurt
- 2 eggs
- 120 g butter (melted)
- 260 ml milk
For the cream cheese frosting:
- 200 g cream cheese
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
And this is how it's done:
- Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy.
- Add the butter, yoghurt and milk and continue to beat.
- Fold in the carrots and hazelnuts.
- Finally, stir in the flour and baking powder. Bake in the waffle iron on level 3.
- For the cream cheese frosting, briefly mix the cream cheese with the powdered sugar using the emulsifying disc of the Chop & Go and serve with the waffles.
Time for tradition: classic yeast plait
Bring the aroma of fresh yeast plait into your kitchen and treat your loved ones to this timeless classic.
Ingredients:
- 250 ml milk
- 475 g wheat flour
- 60 g sugar
- ½ cube of fresh yeast (approx. 21 g)
- 50 g soft butter (room temperature)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg (size M)
- Milk and caster sugar for sprinkling
Preparation:
- Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the lukewarm milk and leave to stand briefly (approx. 10 minutes).
- Add all the other ingredients and knead for at least 5 minutes using a food processor.
- Cover the bowl with the dough with a tea towel and leave to rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours. Place the dough on a floured work surface and divide into three equal parts. Roll each piece of dough into a long sausage approx. 40 cm long.
- Braid the dough strands into a plait, cover again with a tea towel and leave to rise for approx. 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat (fan oven: 180 degrees).
- Brush the plait with a little milk and sprinkle with caster sugar and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 15-20 minutes until lightly browned.
Tastes like more: Carrot Orange Mimosa
Our Carrot-Orange Mimosa is the perfect drink for spring and Easter. It´s super easy to make and full of good nutrients!
Ingredients:
- 300 ml Carrot juice (freshly pressed)
- 300 ml Orange juice (freshly pressed)
- Juice of one lime
- 1 bottle of sparkling wine/ prosecco
How to prepare:
- Prepare 300 ml of fresh orange juice and carrot juice in the Slow Juicer.
- Mix the juices together and add the sparkling wine or Prosecco.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
A great eye-catcher: Bunny Scrambled Egg Baskets
With the Bunny-Scrambled-Egg Baskets, you're sure to impress not only the little ones - you'll make the bigger ones smile too!
Ingredients:
- 1 roll of flambée dough
- 4 eggs
- Chives
- 1 tablespoon of herb butter
- Salt, pepper
How to prepare:
- Roll out the flambée dough and cut out circles to fit the wells of a muffin tin. Place the circles in the wells and press down lightly. Form the bunny ears out of the remaining dough.
- Bake in the AirFry Chef 1700 at 180°C for approx. 8 minutes.
- Beat the eggs with the Kitchen Machine , whisk and season with salt and pepper.
- Mealt the herb butter in a pan on the Induction Hob . Add the eggs and let them set while stirring.
- Fill the finished scrambled eggs into the baskets. Put 2 ears in each and garnish with chives.
Simply delicious: Salmon Crêpe Rolls
The Salmon Crêpe Rolls with crème fraîche and cream cheese are quickly and easily prepared.
Ingredients:
For the crêpes batter:
- 80 g flour
- 150 ml milk
- 1 egg
- Salt
For the filling:
- 300 g smoked salmon
- 150 g cream cheese
- 100 g crème frâiche
- Dill
And this is how it's done:
- Mix all the ingredients for the crêpes batter in a bowl to a smooth dough. Let the dough rest for about 1 hour.
- Blend cream cheese with crème fraîche and stir in the chopped dill.
- Bake several thin crêpes with the Crêpes Maker.
- Spread the cooled crêpes with the cream cheese cream, top with salmon and roll them up.
- Put the rolls in the fridge and cut into thin stripes before serving.
Not only for long ears: Puff Pastry Carrots
With our filled Puff Pastry Carrots you present not only a delicious, but also a special eye catching highlight.
Ingredients:
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 250 g curd
- 125 g of bacon cubes
- Chives, parsley
- Carrot greens
- Juice of one lemon
- Salt, pepper
How to prepare:
- Roll out the puff pastry, cut it into thin stripes and wrap into a curl shape.
- Bake in the AirFry Chef 1700 at 180°C for approx. 13 minutes.
- For the filling, stir the curd until it's smooth and season it with salt and pepper. Then add chives, parsley and lemon and stir again.
- Fill the Puff Pastry Carrots with the filling by using a piping bag and garnish with the carrot greens.
For young and old: Fluffy yeast bunnies*

Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 20 g fresh yeast
- 45 g sugar
- 125 ml whole milk
- 25 g butter (melted)
- 250 g wheat flour (type 550)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tbs fresh organic lemon zest
- 1 pinch of ground vanilla
- 1 egg yolk
In addition:
- 6 dried cranberries or raisins
- 1 egg yolk whisked smooth with a dash of whole milk
How to prepare:
For the dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in the milk.
- Add remaining dough ingredients and knead in a food processor with the dough hook for 10 minutes to a smooth dough - of course, this can also be done by hand
- Shape the dough into a ball and let it rise covered in a warm place for one hour
