Recipe idea: Crispy cheese and bacon wrap
Ingredients:
- 4 large tortilla flatbreads or wraps
- 200 g thinly sliced bacon
- 2 cups grated cheese (your choice, e.g., cheddar or gouda)
- Fresh herbs to taste (e.g. parsley or chives)
- Optional: tomato slices, avocado or other favorite ingredients for the filling
Preparation:
- Lay out the thin slices of bacon evenly on a large microwave plate. Use the defrost function of the microwave to gently defrost and soften the bacon.
- Place the tortilla flatbreads or wraps on a clean work surface. Spread the grated cheese generously over the flatbreads.
- Take the defrosted bacon and place it on top of the cheese. Add fresh herbs, tomato slices, avocado or other desired ingredients as desired.
- Roll the patties or wraps tightly together to form the delicious parcel.
- Use the microwave for final cooking. Use the multi-stage cooking method by first using the defrost function and then switching to a suitable microwave setting to melt the cheese and fry the bacon until crispy. Make sure that the patties are not left in the microwave for too long to achieve the desired texture.
