Product test procedure at CASO Design
1. apply
You can apply to be a product tester with us. Simply fill out the application form and explain why we should choose you as a product tester.
2. selection of testers
As soon as you have been selected as a tester, you will receive a message from us with details of the next steps.
3. test the product
Once you have received the product, you can test it (usually**) for 14 days.
4. now your opinion is needed
Share your product experience by posting your honest opinion on various platforms (you will find information on this in the test procedure).
5. thank you for your participation
Once the product has been rated, you can (usually**) keep the product as a thank you for the time you have invested.
** The test procedure described here may differ for some products. Information on this will be communicated during the test.
Conditions of participation:

Why does CASO carry out product tests?
Product reviews on the Internet are becoming increasingly important and represent one of the most important decision-making criteria for most customers when making a purchase. In addition, product reviews also provide insight into the quality or functionality of the product from the customer's perspective and are therefore extremely important for us as a manufacturer. Based on customer feedback, we can take measures to improve the product or possibly remove it from the range.

How is a product tester selected?
In principle, anyone can apply for a product test. Suitable testers are selected during the application process (by means of your message to us). The selection is to ensure a safe and qualitative test.
If you have applied for a test and have been rejected, we encourage you to apply for future tests. We often have more applicants than we can accept product testers.
Procedure of the product test

I have received the test device. What happens now?
In the next few days, you will receive an e-mail from us officially informing you that the test phase has begun. You can then start testing your product extensively.
IMPORTANT: As soon as the test phase is over and the evaluation phase begins, you will receive another e-mail from us. In this e-mail you will find important information on writing a review, find out on which portals you should leave a review and receive further information on the test procedure.

Do I have to write in my review that I received the product for the purpose of a product test?
Yes, you can mention in the review that you received the product as part of a product test.

Can I also write negative reviews?
Objectivity and an honest opinion are paramount in our product tests. You should express your honest opinion about the test product in the review and are therefore completely free to choose the content of the review. CASO has no editorial influence whatsoever on your review. A negative review has no influence on whether the product may be kept or on the selection for future product tests.

Can I keep the product after the test or do I have to return it to CASO?
Submit a review (with at least 70 words or 400 characters) of the test product on the specified review portals within 3 weeks of the start of the evaluation phase, then the test product will become your property after the end of the test.
However, if you do not submit a review or submit an inadequate review within this period, the product remains the property of CASO. In this case, CASO reserves the right to reclaim the product. CASO may then actively request you to return the product, which must be at your own expense.
In special cases, the return of the test product (regardless of the written evaluation) is part of the test procedure. However, you will always be informed of this in the test description before you apply.

Does my rating have to be different on the various platforms?
No, you can also publish your review word-for-word on the various platforms. The important thing is that you share your objective and honest opinion and follow our guidelines for writing a review.

What do I need to bear in mind when writing a review?
We want to make sure that your review can be published. Therefore, please pay attention to the following:
Mention in your review that you received the product free of charge (or at a reduced price) as part of a product test and that CASO has not influenced your review. You will receive the product as compensation for your testing efforts. Please do not mention any competitors. Focus your review on the product itself. Avoid rating our customer service. Contact us directly if you need help. Do not disclose any personal or identifiable information such as your full name.
